Chokha ni Kheer

chokha ni kheer

Milk (full cream) : 1 litre
Basmati rice : Soaked ½ cup
Sugar : 6 tablespoons

For garnishing
Green cardamoms : 5 - 6
Raisins : 12 - 14

Method of preparation:
Bring the milk to boil, add rice and reduce heat. Cook stirring continuously till it reduces to one-third of the original quantity. Add sugar and mix well by partially crushing rice. Add cardamom and raisins. Serve cold.
